Alice Di Micele & Mimi Fox are old friends who toured as a duo in the 90’s and then went on their separate musical paths. Mimi Fox is a world class jazz guitarist who has toured all over the world, released 13 albums, and played with a who’s who of Jazz royalty.  Alice Di Micele is an Americana/folk singer/songwriter with 16 albums and 35 years of touring under her belt. Fox is a lover of folk music and Di Micele is a lover of jazz. You might say that Mimi is a folksinger in a jazz guitarists body and  Di Micele is a jazz singer in a folk musicians body. Fox’s guitar arrangement is the perfect accompaniment to Di Micele’s voice on this tune.

There is a magic between the pair that is infectious. This is the first recording of the two since Alice’s 1994 album “Naked” in which Mimi played on two songs – but it won’t be the last. The duo plans to do some touring together and there is talk of making a full album of songs.  Stay tuned for more!
