For over three decades Alice DiMicele has been moving people with her brand of “organic acoustic groove.” Whether playing solo, in duo with her long-time bassist Rob Kohler or with her aptly named band “Force of  Nature” DiMicele brings her wide-ranging vocal prowess, humor, and distinctive guitar style to festival stages, theaters, music clubs, and house concerts.

Bucking the advances of record labels and industry executives early in her career, Alice has stayed true to herself and her mission: to create music that connects people and inspires them to take a stand for the earth and for justice in the world. Born and raised in New Jersey, and firmly transplanted since 1986 in the fertile Southern Oregon soil, DiMicele's music encompasses both city savvy and country innocence.

With a long list of performance credits like Strawberry Music Festival, Kate Wolf Music Festival, High Sierra Music Festival, Joshua Tree Music Festivals, Oregon Country Fair, Northwest String Summit along with 15 albums and 30 plus years of touring under her belt, Alice has honed her craft and comes to every gig ready to create magic. Alice doesn’t just “put on a show” --she creates memorable experiences with her audiences.

She's shared stages with some of music's finest including some of her musical heroes like Bonnie Raitt, Joan Baez, JJ Cale, David Grisman Quintet, Steve Winwood, Ferron, Peter Rowan, Richie Havens, Bob Weir, Mickey Hart, and the list goes on. Bonnie Raitt said, "Alice's music has that great combination of earthiness and groove that keeps it funky from the inside out. She's for real."
